Nicor’s new patent pending AMR/AMI Meter Pit Ring is designed to mount onto D2000 Corrugated Ribbed PVC Pipe. The ring and lid are designed to meet the H20 load rating for incidental traffic, be ADA compliant and UV resistant. At the same time Nicor has developed a series of brackets for mounting Aclara, Badger Orion, Elster, Itron, Mars, Master Meter, Neptune, Sensus, and KP Electronics endpoints that attach to the underside of the lid or ring with no need for tools. This new ring will eliminate the chance of the AMR/AMI device or cables being damaged when the lid is removed as it will remain in the pit.
