Special Tanks Mean Special Designs and Special Accessories
Fuel tanks - for aviation fuel, diesel fuel, gasoline and other similar flammable materials - require special accessories such as explosion proof vents, unique coatings and so on. Special valves, pumps and filters may be called for and a foam-free fire protection system is often required. Furthermore, a fuel dispensing system and a monitoring SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) may be a standard part of your facility. These tanks need to be designed to American Petroleum Institute (API) or other international specifications.
