Earlier this year, EPA released its draft Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS)
health assessment for ammonia. The assessment for ammonia represents major
progress for EPA in implementing the April 2011 National Academy of Sciences
(NAS) recommendations for improving IRIS assessments.
