Orenco® Biotube® Pump Packages are used for pumping effluent from single- or double-compartment septic tanks and dosing tanks. Patented Biotube vault technology filters out solids so that only liquid from the “clear zone” between the tank’s scum and sludge layers is pumped. This reduces biological loading and clogging of downstream components, saving money in O&M and extending the life of drainfields and other downstream components. More than 150,000 Orenco pumping packages are in service all over the world, on individual onsite systems and in community-wide effluent sewer systems.
Orenco’s Pump Packages include components designed to work together:
• A Biotube or EasyPak™ Pump Vault, both with Biotube Effluent Filter
• 4-in. turbine effluent pump
• Float switch assembly
• Discharge assembly
• PVC splice box
• Control panel
All systems are preassembled with corrosion-resistant, durable components, ensuring reliability. To simplify the selection process for Orenco pumping systems, we have developed pump and pump basin packages that fit most applications, as well as a PumpSelect™ software program for generating fast, error-free hydraulic calculations and system curves.
