New Pig offers several products that not only can help you keep oil and/or debris out of your drains without spending a fortune, but also help your facility comply with Stormwater requirements. Those products include:
•PIG® Drain Insert Plus. Although a simple concept, it’s a very effective way to keep oil, sediment and debris out of drains and catch basins. Installing a PIG® Drain Insert is an easy way to remove contaminants from stormwater in high-traffic areas. The Drain Insert fits rectangular storm drains up to 30" x 40" and round drains up to 30" in diameter, and 18"-deep accumulation pocket collects oil, sediment and other contaminants but let’s water flow through.
•PIG® Outdoor Oily Water Filter Bucket. Connect to a PIG® Leak Diverter to help comply with SPCC and stormwater regulations. Absorbent-filled Bucket captures hydrocarbons from collected water and allows filtered water to pass through. A weatherproof container with hinged lid holds oil-absorbent media to remove up to 2.5 gallons of oil, grease and hydrocarbons without taking in a drop of water. Seven alternating layers of PIG® Oil-Only Mat Pads and PIG® Oil-Only Pillows help disperse collected liquids for uniform saturation and fewer changeouts.
