C.I.Agent Solutions is a Louisville, Kentucky based company that custom designs, develops, and manufactures products using innovative technology to prevent and mitigate hydrocarbon releases into the environment. C.I.Agent Solutions’ premier product, C.I.Agent, is a non-hazardous, environmentally friendly blend of polymers that immobilizes hydrocarbons (oil, gasoline, diesel fuels, crude, and sheen) on land and water. It’s compliant with EPA Regulation 40 CFR-112 and meets EPA Phase II storm water requirements. C.I.Agent is utilized in a variety of products including barrier booms, marine booms, dissolvable packs, pillows, pads, and filtration devices that capture the hydrocarbons while allowing water to flow through. In side-by-side comparisons on the same spills, C.I.Agent had proven to be more efficient and cost effective than traditional methods reducing clean up time to hours rather than days.
